I have run out of my favorite base white which is lead white or otherwise known as Foundation White.

However I just happen to have refined linseed oil here and lead pigment which is earmarked for my traditional gesso for making silverpoint.  I can make paint from scratch right?  It's just a matter of a palette knife and the right linseed oil.   Right?   And lots of mixing?

Lauren where is the nearest art supply store to us?

Diana
